Hello,
Today is the 28th January and it has rained , and rained, since I last wrote. I can recall one or two good sunny days and certainly made the most of them.
Since last time we have been spring cleaning the shop, which meant that we, the crafters, had to remove all our 'stuff' for a couple of days and then take it back in when the shop had been cleaned. It was a good exercise actually as I had a stock-take and could easily see what items had sold well over the past year.
I am in the middle of major problems with the colour management on my computer. I had got it all set up and then one of my paper suppliers changed the make-up of the paper. In trying to get my printer to print out well on this new paper I have messed up the settings all over my PC and it is taking some time to sort it out.
So all in all I haven't made much progress in my creative journey.

Thursday, January 11, 2018
Today is the 11th of January 2018....where have the past 10 days gone ? Stuck in the dark days of January. However, today things are looking up. I have finished my Dreamboard and done all the writing that goes with it so I can look at every day and feel inspired.
I have been thinking more about 'words' and sentiments.
The next one has been decorated and scanned before colouring in . I used to be so fixated by images that I didn't take much notice of words. This appears to be changing and when I design my cards I am adding in sentiments as a big part of the design.
I used the above quote as it is something that appeared to me when I was a child and it has meant a lot to me throughout my life. I try to live up to it.

A new chapter in my life
It is the first day of a new year. Where will it lead me ? I have no idea but will try to share it with those of you who might be interested in my creative journey.
Over the past 5 years I have been expanding my creative skills and exploring new avenues.
I started off with photography....not really correct...as I have always taken photographs. However I began to see where my talent lay and my love of montage.
So the first thing I did this year was to create a Dreamweaving Board to see where it would take me
Last night was very windy and I couldn't sleep so I worked on the following images producing a card
using my own coloured papers and a flower stamp , which I then fussy cut.
I will use it as a' Thank You' card and make some more for the shop
