Above is the montage of New Quay that I have now finished
We are now right at the end of February and Winter seems to have returned with a vengence. The 'beast from the east' is upon us. Here on the west coast of Wales we get little snow especially if it arrives from the east. Today it started about 8am and now at 10.25 it has stopped, leaving a light covering. We wait to see what transpires.
In the meantime I have been getting on with my photography for montages. I went to Aberaeron on the 16th Feb. A lovely day for the photos. I hadn't thought much about an outlet for my montage up there but as I went along I passed a gallery. They were willing to accept my work so I spent the day happily taking photographs of the lovely Georgian houses .
I knew I would have to go there again
on a Sunday when there was less through traffic.Sunday 25th Feb proved to be the day. Lovely and sunny, just as the cold snap was starting. So now I have enough shots to build the montage.
